PRESS RELEASE
By Justin Wallner

His history speaks for itself.

In 1995, Dr. Antonio Gellini Founded the Family Film Awards which aired on CBS on August 22nd, 1996 which he Co-Executive Produced with his close friend and business partner, the great Legend of Legends and one of the most influential men in American entertainment in the 20th Century - Mr. Dick Clark, may he Rest In Peace. Dick Clark Productions joined World Film Institute in producing the first awards show of its kind, sponsored by Microsoft and reaching over 700 million views. On that historic day, Family Film Awards were presented to World Renowned American Icons including Hollywood Legend Bob Hope, Ron Howard, Tom Hanks, Patrick Stewart, Joe Lando, Jane Seymour, Sandra Bullock, Neve Campbell and many others.

As historic and significant as the 1996 Family Film Awards was, greater still was the event that preceded it in 1995, when a law was created that broke the Disney monopoly on family films. Dr. Antonio Gellini, with the help of Mr. Dick Clark, Mr. Jack Valenti, then acting President of the Motion Picture Association and sitting American President Mr. Bill Clinton, created a law that shaped the course of the entire film industry for the next 20 years continuing to the present day – a law that requires every major Motion Picture Studio to produce no less than three (3) Family Films every year or be shut down forever.

The Family Film Awards is back. On August 27th, 2015 at the Universal Hilton Hotel in Universal City, CA, World Film Institute held the Family Film Awards Press Conference at which time the 2015 nominees were announced. The Press Conference was hosted by George Hamilton, Diane Ladd, Alston Koch and others. Following the official announcement of all Nominees, a Blue Ribbon Panel of industry experts voted to select the Winners in a variety of categories.

On the closing day of the 69th Annual Cannes Film Festival, May 22nd, 2016, the Final Winners of the 2015 Family Film Awards were announced, concluding the long awaited second event. Among the Winners were Ben Stiller, Jennifer Garner, Neil Patrick Harris and others as listed below...

Congratulations to the Winners and Nominees of the 2015 Family Film Awards!

As stated in the recent Huffington Post article entitled "2015 Family Film Awards"...

"Best wishes on behalf of Dr. Antonio Gellini and his business partner Mr. Allan Jay Friedman, President of World Film Institute, Family Film Awards and Olympia Awards Games of 9 Arts and Entertainment, along with all supporters and staff of all three organizations including Mr. Justin Wallner, Exclusive Personal Publicist of Dr. Antonio Gellini and Founder & Chairman of GAME PR (Guerrilla Attraction Marketing Experience), Mr. Roger Neal, Founder of NEAL PR who assisted the Family Film Awards in 1996 and 2015, both Senior Vice Presidents of World Film Institute and Family Film Awards, Mr. Joel Diamond and Mrs. Rossana Huang, Executive Vice President Mr. Ashkan Tabibnia, Vice President Mr. Justin Wallner and many others.

'In these times of change where the creation of visual images throughout the world and the powerful mediums that cut across lines are so important, I believe that we as filmmakers have an important responsibility because what we do affects the entire world. We can eliminate the boundaries of race, age, gender and religion through images that tell stories, represent adventure or impart information. From Indiana to India, from Chile to China, film touches one and all. God Bless Us All and God Bless America.'
-Antonio Gellini, Founder, Owner & Chairman of The Family Film Awards

The Family Film Awards made history when it first aired on CBS Network on August 22nd, 1996, Co-Executive Produced by its Founder and Chairman Dr. Antonio Gellini and the late legend Mr. Dick Clark with Dick Clark Productions. It brought to life the World Film Institute dream of recognizing outstanding achievements of the motion picture industry, specifically in family-oriented entertainment. The first annual show garnered an astounding 700 million views and returns to us at last in 2015, brought to you by Antonio Gellini Productions.
